The Ruin is the name given to our world, 10,000 years into the future. Your characters don't know this, and will find it out in bits and pieces, over the course of the game. The world has undergone tectonic shifts, several planet killer asteroid strikes, and has seen the rise and fall of several civilizations. It is a world inhabited by fantasy creatures, magic, and mystery.
