Other notes:
- The airplane holds 54 people in sidewall seats, along with 13 pallets.
- A palletized seating load can carry 12 people per pallet.
- The Forge takes up 2 pallets
- A pallet holds 10,000 lbs
- An MRE weighs 2lbs
- Therefore, we can fit 5000 MREs per pallet
- 63 people means 189 meals per day
- That's 26 days worth of meals per pallet
- Humans need approximately 3 quarts of drinking water per day (3/4 gallon).
- A gallon of water weighs 8lbs
- A pallet holds approximately 1000 gallons of water (because the tanks weigh something too)
- 63 people * 3/4 of a gallon is 47.25 gallons of drinking water per day.
- 1000 gallons of water will therefore last 21 days.
